Instructional Design

The ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) model of instructional design approaches course design in stages. After evaluating any training needs or knowledge gaps (Analysis), the design process begins, and that includes a design document shared with SMEs and other stakeholders. Once the design is approved, the next step is development, beginning with a storyboard, a visual representation and script for the course. Following the storyboard, the actual course is drafted and developed. This page includes examples of design documents and storyboards.
